Either you know him or you don't. All I can say is don't even think of asking me some dumb shit like "Do you think Obama really has a chance at becoming president?" until you've read Black skins white masks. He was not post-colonial, but in the process of decolonizing. He held that luminal space and the had the hard headed stubbornness to write about it. I don't want to be Fanon, but I want his courage.
